Der Arkadengang umgibt das gesamte Erdgeschoss des Gebaeudes "Queen Mary". Dieser gegen Regen und direkte Sonne schuetzende oeffentliche Raum ist in nahen Staedten wie Udine (Piazza San Giacomo) und der Bezirkshauptstadt Deutschlandsberg mehrmals anzutreffen. Die Besucher bewegen sich hier in einem versetzt symmetrischen Raum entlang der Schaufenster mit Blick nach Innen und zum Platz nach Auszen.

The arcade passageway incloses the buildings entire ground floor. This type of public space, protected from the rain and direct sun can be frequently encountered in nearrby cities such as Udine (Piazza San Giacomo). Visitors move in an offset symmetrical space alongside the shop window with a view inside the business on the one side and to the shared space on the other.
